Instructions to Participate in the Stake Conference Broadcasts
Friday February 23rd, 2018- 7:00pm - 9:00pm Setup and Testing (Code 50641)
- 3:00 - 5:00pm Stake Priesthood Leadership (not broadcasted)
- 6:30 - 8:30pm Saturday Session (Code 25831) Backup Audio line: current phone wiring is interfering with our internet broadcast so we cannot offer an audio backup at this time.
- 10:00am - 12:00 Sunday Session from Saskatoon (Code 22041) Backup Audio line: current phone wiring is interfering with our internet broadcast so we cannot offer an audio backup at this time.
If you are participating from a CHAPEL:
ON Conference day- If you have the Stake Cart ready 30 minutes before it starts, a stake tech can set it up for you.
- Otherwise, log into the Portal with your LDS account and use the above Event codes
- Click on the link to start the stream.
If you are participating from your HOME computer, smart-phone, or other device:
ON Conference Day: (See BELOW for some TIPS on improving your reception)- Memorize the 5 digit code given above for the broadcast
- Go to the Portal and use your LDS account to sign in.
- If you arrive at the Events List, click on the HOME link on the top left.
- Type in the code where it says Enter an Event Code
- You should then see a button to start the broadcast. Click WATCH LIVE.
- Follow these instructions to begin the broadcast on a special device.
If you would like to TEST your setup before-hand, there will be a TEST broadcast set up in the portal the night before and 2 hours before the 1st Saturday broadcast at 1:00pm. Follow the same procedures as above but choose the TEST event instead.
TIP: Select Low Bandwidth Mode if you are experiencing too much buffering.
